A number of Scottish Episcopal churches will be recognising today’s Day of Prayer to highlight the plight of refugees, including:
St Andrew’s Cathedral, Inverness
The Rt Rev Mark Strange, Bishop of Moray, Ross and Caithness is leading a day of prayer for refugees at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Inverness. There will be opportunity throughout the day to offer prayers to be added to a prayer tree, and to leave donations to the charities working to support and help refugees.

7.30pm Service of Light and Commitment to Prayer
St John’s Church, Princes Street, Edinburgh
St John’s will be open for communal and individual prayer and for community organising to respond to the urgent needs of refugees and migrants. The following charities will be represented: Refugee Survival Trust, CalAid, ChristianAid, Mothers Union, Peace and Justice Centre.
