About the Buildings Advisory Committee

The Buildings Advisory Committee exists principally to determine appeals lodged under Canon 35 against the decisions of a Diocesan Buildings Advisory Committee or Diocesan Bishop.

It also provides occasional guidance, of a general nature, on matters concerning the maintenance and upkeep of church buildings. It normally meets twice each year, with additional meetings being arranged as necessary, in the event of a Canon 35 appeal being made.

Prayer for the Week

Candle

Thursday 28 August 2008

'Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life: raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.'
