Church Without Walls Tented Village

Posted Friday 21 March 2008

Church Without Walls Tented Village CWW 2008 – The National Gathering, taking place from 3 to 4 May 2008, is a Tented Gathering at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Scotland’s premier outdoor/indoor venue. It’s an event for all age groups and all churches.

They would like you to come so that you can reflect on the things you and your congregation can’t leave behind as you make your journey of change. They will focus on the compelling nature of the Gospel that calls us to the place of grace and forgiveness, compassion and mercy, friendship and service, death and resurrection.

One of the great changes taking place is that the church is focusing again on the power of local compassion to impact the global crisis. They invite you to join us in prayer as we all make the change from settled ministry to risk taking ministry.

'Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life: raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.'
