The Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office (SCPO) and Action of Churches Together in Scotland (ACTS) have developed a collection of resources to help churches prepare for the 2007 Scottish parliamentary elections on 3 May.
Visit the SCPO 2007 Election page to download leaflets explaining how to organise a hustings meeting, and suggesting topics and questions to raise at hustings.
Other resources include:
- Bible studies prepared for the election by ‘Unlock Glasgow’ and the Poverty Alliance, with the title “The Scottish Elections and the Bible - Taking Forward the Struggle Against Poverty in Scotland”.
- Research on the impact of eight years of devolved government on the lives of people living in poverty in Scotland.
- Details of hustings arranged across Scotland.
