The SCPO Briefing Paper on Poverty Strategy, covering recent reports by the Scottish Affairs Committee and the current Scottish Government consultation now available for downloading on the SCPO website.
Among new consultations are Scottish Government proposals on “A Fairer Local Tax” and on a National Delivery Plan for Specialist Children’s Services, there are petitions on water charges (church exemptions) and the impact of funeral costs, and much about rural schools. At Westminster, there are the Justice Committee’s review of devolution, and a consultation on “the path to citizenship”.
SCPO (in partnership with the Church of Scotland) has produced material designed to encourage church congregations and groups to take part in the “National Conversation” entitled “Choosing Scotland’s Future”. This material is now available on the SCPO website.
