Within the Episcopal tradition, it is customary to celebrate that as people grow in faith they grow deeper in understanding of their following of Christ and of being part of the Church.
In this rite the candidate affirms the promises made at baptism and renews their dedication to participate fully as part of the Church, within the Episcopal tradition.
