About Local Collaborative Ministry

Local Collaborative Ministry (LCM) is one of the Scottish Episcopal Church's tapestry of strategies aimed at empowering congregations to participate more fully in mission.

LCM maintains that ministry is the responsibility of the baptised people of God; all are called and equipped by the Spirit for the exercise of Christ's ongoing work in the world and in the church.

Fundamental to LCM's approach is the provision of educational resources to entire congregations, thus forming everyone for their ministries-for-mission, whether those be exercised in daily life and work, or within the gathered community of the church.

Prayer for the Week

Candle

Tuesday 7 October 2008

'Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life: raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.'
