New Bishop of Aberdeen & Orkney Consecrated
The Right Reverend Dr Robert (Bob) Gillies was consecrated and installed as the new Bishop of Aberdeen & Orkney in a special service in St Andrew's Cathedral, Aberdeen on Saturday 22 September.

Primus accepts invitation to become joint Patron of InclusiveChurch
InclusiveChurch has announced that the Most Rev Dr Idris Jones, Bishop of Glasgow & Galloway and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, has agreed to join the Archbishop of Mexico as one of the organisation's Patrons.

New Bishop Elected for Moray, Ross & Caithness
The Rev Canon Mark Strange has today been elected as the new Bishop for the Diocese of Moray, Ross & Caithness. Mark, presently Rector of Holy Trinity Church, Elgin, said: "I am so excited by this opportunity to work alongside the people of the Highlands and Moray."

Candidates Shortlisted for Bishop of Moray, Ross & Caithness
Four candidates have been short-listed for the post of Bishop of Moray, Ross & Caithness (one of the seven dioceses of the Scottish Episcopal Church) which became vacant last November following the retirement of the Right Reverend John Crook, who served the diocese as Bishop for seven years.

MPs Sent Anti-Trident Message
The Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, the Most Rev Dr Idris Jones, and Mrs Nancy Adams, Convener of the Church in Society Committee, have added their signatures to a letter encouraging all MPs to reject the renewal of Trident.
