2009 Provincial Conference: Registration Forms Available Online

Posted Monday 17 November 2008

Registration forms are now available online and from Diocesan offices for the 2009 Provincial Conference of the Scottish Episcopal Church.

The Conference will take place from 2-4 October 2009 in the Macdonald Highland Resort, Aviemore. The theme of the Conference is Living Well: Proclaim, Discover, Respond, and the underpinning Bible passage is the ‘Women at the Well’ narrative (John 4:3-43). The theme encompasses the Anglican Communion’s Five Marks of Mission:

  • proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God;
  • teach, baptise and nurture new believers;
  • respond to human need by loving service;
  • seek to transform unjust structures of society;
  • strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth.

Please visit our 2009 Provincial Conference page for further information, and to download the registration form.

Prayer for the Week

Candle

Sunday 8 November 2009

'Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life: raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.'
