The Most Rev David Chillingworth, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church says “Many congregations in the Scottish Episcopal Church will be taking part in Back to Church Sunday on 26 September and inviting friends and neighbours to join them in church. It’s an opportunity for us to welcome people who want to ‘try out’ the experience of church.
“You may not have been to church since you were a child. Perhaps you are thinking about bringing your own children? Maybe you have never been to church and wonder what part it might play in your life? Whatever your reason is, the people of our congregations will be delighted to welcome you.”
