Beauty from Chaos: A Lent 2008 Blog

Posted Tuesday 05 February 2008

A Lent blog is being created by a group of Scottish Episcopal bloggers. Beauty from Chaos will offer daily reflections, poems, and provocations to help us on the journey through Lent.

One of the contributors, Kimberly Bohan, says: "The episcopal blogging circle is growing, and it offers many of us a place to engage with people and perspectives that we may not otherwise meet. The people working on Beauty from Chaos represent different dioceses, theologies, and traditions. Through our shared efforts, we hope to offer a blog that speaks of the rich diversity of the church and challenges us all to engage more fully with the spirituality and disciplines of the season."

'Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life: raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.'
