A day conference sponsored by the Bishops of the Scottish Episcopal Church is to explore issues in human sexuality as part of a process of mutual listening and study currently being undertaken across the Anglican Communion.
The 'Exploring Issues in Human Sexuality' conference, open to members of The Scottish Episcopal Church, will be held at Stirling Baptist Centre on Saturday 3May 2008 (10.30am to 4pm). The Bishop of Meath and Kildare, the Most Rev Dr Richard Clarke, will open the day by setting the context in terms of the wider world and Anglican Communion. During the day, it is envisaged that “listening” will take place in facilitated small groups and there will be an opportunity for those attending to raise specific issues during the course of the day.
