Posted Friday 09 May 2008

The Most Rev Dr Idris Jones, Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, has offered his congratulations to all involved in the success of Phase One of the Jubilee Appeal for the development of Scottish Churches House, the ecumenical retreat and conference centre.

Bishop Idris said: "I offer congratulations to those who have guided the Jubilee appeal for the development of Scottish Churches House in Dunblane, and remind members and congregations that the appeal is still open to improve access and availability of the House as a place where 'church' and 'world' can meet."

Full details on the decision to proceed with Phase One of the refurbishment of Scottish Churches House is available on the ACTS (Action of Churches Together in Scotland) website.

Please see the Scottish Churches House website for more about the centre.

'Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life: raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.'
