The third Action of Churches Together in Scotland(ACTS)/Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) Rural Commission Conference will take place on Saturday 13 March in the Acorn Centre, Inverurie from 10.30am to 4pm.

10.00: Arrival and coffee
10.30: Introduction and review of the relevant key issues from “Rural Futures”
10.40: Climate Change. Richard Murray, St Anne’s, Kemnay and a speaker from a Christian Ecological Organisation.
11.20: Poverty and health. Lorna Murray, Inverurie, (Faith group’s representative with Choose Life) Henk Rennie (RSABI). 12.30 Lunch
13.20: Housing. Robin Nairn, Albyn Housing, Inverness.
14.00: Business. Nancy Davidson, Church of Scotland, Tannadice (Post Offices) and Tor Justad The Co-operative Group, Inverness
15.10: Communities and pilgrimage Nick Cooke, Clear services and Ninian Stuart, Falkland estate, Fife.
15.40: Final discussion
16.00: Close
Attendance at the conference is free but so that numbers can be provided for catering those expecting to attend need to register for the event.
