The Most Rev David Chillingworth, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church says:
“The Scottish Episcopal Church is deeply committed to the ecumenical journey. We seek a deepening relationship of prayer and shared ministry with our partner churches. We do this because we believe that Jesus calls us into unity ‘that the world may believe.’ We hold in our prayers particularly members of the Methodist and United Reformed Churches with whom we share in the EMU (Episcopal, Methodist and United Reformed Church) partnership”
