The General Synod

The General Synod acts as the Parliament of the Scottish Episcopal Church.

Standing Committee

The Standing Committee represents the General Synod in the day-to-day running of the Church.

The College of Bishops

Collectively the Bishops are known as the College of Bishops and constitute the Episcopal Synod of the Church.

Administration Board

The Administration Board has responsibility for provincial investments and property and for clergy stipends and allowances..

Faith & Order Board

The Faith & Order Board considers Church government and organisation, and relations with the Anglican Communion and other churches.

Information & Communication Board

The Board manages the internal and external flow of information about the Church, and provides tools to enable effective communication..

Pension Fund Trustees

The Church operates a non-contributory final salary pension scheme for all stipendiary clergy and provincial and diocesan staff employees.

Provincial Committee for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults

The Committee oversees General Synod policy in relation to work and ministry with children and vulnerable adults.
