Affirming Catholicism
Description

Affirming Catholicism encourages Anglicans to be confident in their heritage, based on Scripture, tradition and reason. It sees the Catholic tradition in Christianity as open, generous and evolving, not static, developing by constructively relating new and old insights.

The Scottish branch runs study days or weekends and pilgrimages - always with inspiring worship and friendly socialising.

Prayer for the Week

Candle

Monday 23 November 2009

'Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life: raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.'
