The Scottish Prayer Book Society's aims:
- To uphold the worship and doctrine of the Scottish Episcopal Church as enshrined in the Scottish Book of Common Prayer and in The Liturgy 1970.
- To encourage the use of the Scottish Book of Common Prayer and The Liturgy 1970 as a major element in the worshipping life of the Scottish Episcopal Church.
- To encourage the use of the Scottish Book of Common Prayer and The Liturgy 1970 for the training of candidates for Confirmation and Ordination.
- To spread the knowledge of the Scottish Book of Common Prayer, The Liturgy 1970 and the doctrine contained therein and above all to see it used and taught.
- To collaborate with The Prayer Book Society in England, and with other societies in the United Kingdom, and elsewhere, having compatible purposes.
