The Third Order is part of the Society of Saint Francis, a religious community within the Anglican Communion.
The members of the Order seek to follow Christ in the way of Saint Francis in the spirit of humility, love and joy. It is open to men and women, ordained and lay, married or single, who feel called to live out a Franciscan vocation in the world. Though mainly from within the Anglican Communion members are drawn from other Christian traditions.
