Provincial Overseas Committee Meetibng 19/20 October 2009

At its meeting on 19/20 October 2009, the Provincial Overseas Committee elected to make grants towards the following projects:
-  Pastoral Counselling Centre, Harare, Zimbabwe
-  CMAP Mini Farming Project, Kenys
-  Solar Panels in Muhuru Parish, Rwanda
-  Good Shepherd Agri-Care Shop and Training Centre, Ghana
-  ACT Zanzibar Diocesan Education Scheme-  Cedarville Paliative Care Centre, South Africa
-  Companion link - Glasgow/Kentucky Dioceses

In addition, the Committee extended support to 5 individuals in their plans/projects.

The next meeting of the Committee is scheduled for 27 January 2010. Applicants for grants should note that applications MUST be submitted no later than 6 weeks before the meeting - that is, by the middle of December 2009. Late applications will not be considered until the following meeting (07 April 2010).

Applicants should also note that where a grant is made for more than one year, a report on the progress of the project/individual will be required at the end of each year, before the next instalment of the grant is made.
