At its meeting on 15 October 2008 the Provincial Overseas Committee decided to support the following projects:
- Kihihi Polytechnic, Uganda.
- Mukone School Byumba, Rwanda.
- Some individuals in places such as Kwa Zulu Natal, and Central Tanganyika have been offered support.
- A small number of students studying in Scotland were awarded grants.
- In the light of the cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe, a grant was made through USPG to a hospital in Manicaland, Zimbabwe.
