Brief profiles of TISEC's Provincial Staff - please contact us through our enquiries page:

Rev Dr Michael Fuller
Ministry Development Officer
Michael Fuller is the Provincial Ministry Development Officer: he looks after TISEC's IME programme. He was ordained in 1992, and served in England and as Associate Rector at St John's, Edinburgh, before joining TISEC in 2000.
He has a background in chemistry before turning to theology, and he has written a book and a number of research papers on the relationships of theology with the natural sciences. He is also interested in the interactions between theology and the arts (particularly music).
He is married to Sue, a senior lecturer at Edinburgh University, and has two young children. His passion for theology is approached only by his passion for opera: his other hobbies include travel and Russian literature.

Mrs Denise Brunton
TISEC Administrator
Denise has been with TISEC since 1991 and has seen many changes within that time. She is the principal point of contact with many tutors, students, and visitors. The bulk of Denise's job is to format and prepare all of TISEC's teaching materials (no mean task!), administration of the assignment process and deal with day-to-day enquiries, problems, and hospitality.
Denise is married to Jim, with two sons and five grandchildren. She is also very involved with her home church and has responsibilities that include creating and operating PowerPoint presentations at the Sunday Services, amongst other things! Hobbies include music, cross-stitch, computing (especially desktop publishing), card-making, and her two dogs (Tasha and Dina) not forgetting the budgie, Suki.

Mr David Liddle
Lifelong Lay Learning Project Officer
David works part-time at TISEC in the area of Lay Development. His commitment to lifelong learning comes out of his own experience of returning to full time study as a 'mature student'. He holds degrees in Religious Studies, Divinity and Adult Education, and professionally he has undertaken courses in training, facilitation and consultancy amongst others.
He has gained a wide experience of adult education mainly but not exclusively through the church and voluntary sector. His areas of special interest are the church - its mission, its engagement with the community, and its emerging forms.
David is married to Jean who teaches full-time at an Autism Resource in a Primary School. They have four adult children and three grandchildren.
