Professional Conduct of Clergy
General Synod 2005 adopted guidelines for the professional conduct of the clergy.

Standard Stipend
Information regarding standard stipend is generally circulated to Paying Officers, Vestry Treasurers and Stipendiary clergy annually in September.  Copies of recent memoranda are available.

Pensions – Automatic Enrolment
Guidance and information to assist in meeting the requirements of the Pensions Automatic Enrolment legislation as they relate to stipendiary clergy and church employees.

Appointment of Overseas Clergy and Religious Workers
Guidance is provided regarding the ‘points based’ immigration system applicable to the appointment of clergy or other religious workers from outwith the European Union.

Appointment of Workers:  undertaking necessary checks
Vestries may only employ people who have the right to work in the UK.  Guidance is available explaining how to comply with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.

Resettlement grants
A small grant is available in some circumstances to stipendiary clergy moving to a new charge to help assist with costs incurred in relation to their relocation.

Minimum Standards For Clergy Housing
Recommended guidelines adopted by the Provincial Administration Board for minimum standards for clergy housing.

Maternity and Paternity Provision (Dec 2014)
Rules adopted by the Provincial Administration Board in relation to maternity and paternity leave and pay for stipendiary clergy.
