Communications vacancies at World Council of Churches (WCC)

The WCC has requested we advise of the following two job vacancies:

Communication Officer for the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine/Israel (EAPPI)
The WCC is an ecumenical fellowship of churches founded in 1948, which brings together 348 member churches from all over the world and promotes Christian unity in faith, witness and service for a just and peaceful world. It is looking for an EAPPI Communication Officer at 100% based in Jerusalem to identify internal and external communication priorities, transform communications strategies into concrete action, and align messages toward the WCC’s common objectives and goals. Reporting to the Local Programme Coordinator on a day-to-day basis, she/he will be fully integrated to the WCC communication department, and as such will be accountable to the Director of Communication.

Junior Communication Officer
The WCC is looking for a Junior Communication Officer to be responsible to communicate the programmatic activities of the Ecumenical Formation and Education, Unity and Mission programmatic area, and work as the co-editor for our website www.oikoumene.org. Reporting to the Director of Communication, the Communication Officer will integrate a highly focused and motivated small team, to provide editorial, strategic, creative and operational support across our charity’s work. He/she will play a key role in ensuring our communications are both influential and informative for the full range of our stakeholders.
