Eco-Congregation Scotland

The Annual Gathering of Eco-Congregation Scotland takes place on 22 April in Glasgow. The main speaker is the writer Alastair McIntosh who will be speaking on the themes from his latest book Poacher’s Pilgrimage. Alastair is a leading environmental campaigner, a Quaker and a writer on environmental and faith issues.

Workshops will be held on:
• Using our money ethically (Christian Aid)
• Get your church involved with your local nature reserve (RSPB)
• How to talk to Christians about climate change (Tear Fund)
• Sustainable pilgrimage (Scottish Pilgrim Routes Forum)
• Engaging with politicians (Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office)
• How do we get people to take Energy Efficiency seriously? (Home Energy Scotland)
