O God make speed to save us;
O Lord make haste to help us.
Glory to God, Source of all Being, Eternal Word, and Holy Spirit;*
as it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever.
Amen.
PSALMODY
Antiphon: As the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, and the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,* so our eyes look to you, O Lord our God.
Psalm 123.2f
Opening (from Psalm 119)
you established the earth, and it abides.
2. By your decree these continue to this day,*
for all things are your servants.
3. I will never forget your commandments,*
because by them you give me life.
4. I see that all things come to an end,*
but your commandment has no bounds.
Glory ...
or a suitable Hymn
listen to my prayer, which does not come from lying lips.
2. Let my vindication come forth from your presence; *
let your eyes be fixed on justice.
3. Weigh my heart, summon me by night, *
melt me down; you will find no impurity in me.
4. I give no offence with my mouth as others do; *
I have heeded the words of your lips.
5. My footsteps hold fast to the ways of your law; *
in your paths my feet shall not stumble.
6. I call upon you, O God, for you will answer me; *
incline your ear to me and hear my words.
7. Show me your marvellous loving-kindness, *
O Saviour of those who take refuge at your side from those who rise up against them.
8. Keep me as the apple of your eye; *
hide me under the shadow of your wings,
9. from the wicked who assault me, *
from my deadly enemies who surround me.
10. They have closed their heart to pity, *
and their mouth speaks proud things.
11. They press me hard, now they surround me, *
watching how they may cast me to the ground,
12. like a lion, greedy for its prey, *
and like a young lion lurking in secret places.
13. Arise, O Lord; confront them and bring them down;*
deliver me from the wicked by your sword.
14. Deliver me, O Lord, by your hand from those whose portion in life is this world; whose bellies you fill with treasure,
who are well supplied with children and leave their wealth to their little ones.
15. But at my vindication I shall see your face; *
when I awake, I shall be satisfied, beholding your likeness.
Glory …
Conclusion
Revelation 5 and 15
1. Great and wonderful are your deeds, Lord God the Almighty;*
just and true are your ways, O King of the ages!
2. Who shall not revere and praise your name, O Lord?*
for you alone are holy.
3. All nations shall come and worship in your presence,*
for your just dealings have been revealed.
4. To God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb*
be praise and honour, glory and might, for ever and ever. Amen.

Response Psalm 119.89
O Lord, your word is everlasting.
O Lord, your word is everlasting.
It stands firm in the heavens.
Your word is everlasting.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit

SONG OF MARY
Song of Mary Antiphon: God has come to the aid of the faithful, * as promised to Abraham and his children.
1 My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,*my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour;
2 for he has looked with favour on his lowly servant;*
from this day all generations will call me blessed.
3 The Almighty has done great things for me*
and holy is his name.
4 He has mercy on those who fear him*
in every generation.
5 He has shown the strength of his arm;*
he has scattered the proud in their conceit.
6 He has cast down the mighty from their thrones*
and has lifted up the lowly.
7 He has filled the hungry with good things,*
and the rich he has sent away empty.
8 He has come to the help of his servant Israel,*
for he has remembered his promise of mercy,
9 the promise he made to our forebears,*
to Abraham and his children for ever.
Glory to the Father... (may be said by all)

PRAYERS
Lord, have mercy upon us.
Christ, have mercy upon us.
Lord, have mercy upon us.
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Do not bring us to the time of trial,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours,
now and for ever. Amen.
Collect of the Day
O God, the protector of all who trust in you,
without whom nothing can be whole
and nothing can be holy:
increase your mercy towards us,
that, with you as our ruler and guide,
we may so enjoy the good things of time,
as not to lose the things of eternity;
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, world without end.
Amen
Lord God almighty, come and dispel the darkness from our hearts, that in the radiance of your brightness we may know you, the only unfading light, glorious in all eternity.
Amen.
Let us bless the Lord:
Thanks be to God!
The God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing:
through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
