Committee on Canons

The Committee on Canons is responsible for drafting changes to the Code of Canons. The Committee is given instructions and then drafts amendments to present to the Faith and Order Board before being proposed to the General Synod. The Committee also reviews the Canons to ensure the efficient functioning on the church’s life and advises on canonical matters.
