The Rt Rev Mark Strange, Bishop of Moray, Ross & Caithness and John Stuart, Secretary General of the Scottish Episcopal Church were amongst the senior church and other faith community representatives attending the annual Royal Ecclesiastical Gun Salute to mark HM the Queen’s arrival in Edinburgh on Friday 1 July.
As 1 July 2016 was the one hundredth anniversary of the 1st day of the Somme Offensive this year’s event reflected on WW1 Chaplaincy with a focus on other faith chaplains and the current situation with the MOD on this subject.
