Shaping our Worship – Joint Liturgical Group Conference

September 2, 2016

The Joint Liturgical Group (JLG)  of Great Britain began in 1963. Its aim is to serve the churches of Britain in the renewal of their worship. The JLG has been concerned with the demands of worship in Britain, and the development of common liturgical thinking and texts in the worldwide Church.

The Conference is for all those who are interested in shaping our worship, those engaged with the training and formation of ministers and other leaders of worship, those working on national or local commissions for liturgy, worship and music. It will explore how our worship shapes us through Community, Silence, the Word of God, Space, Song and What we See. Addressing these topics will be a range of experienced speakers from across the denominations (see leaflet for full details of the conference and how to register).

Included in the cost are meals (from lunch on Tuesday to lunch on Thursday), en-suite accommodation and a field trip to Leeds RC Cathedral and the Anglican Community of the Resurrection in Mirfield.
