On Saturday 7 November 2015 the Very Rev Dr Isaac Poobalan (previously Rector of St John’s Episcopal Church, Aberdeen) was installed as Provost and Rector, and the Rev Canon Paul Watson as Canon, of St Andrew’s Cathedral, Aberdeen.
Nerys Brown is to be ordained Deacon on Sunday 15 November at St Ninian’s Cathedral, Perth by the Most Rev David Chillingworth, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane. Nerys is to serve her curacy at St John the Baptist Church, Perth. At the same service, the Rev Dr Margaret Dineley is to be ordained Priest.
The Rev Dr James Currall was recently licensed as Priest in the Northern Chapter, Diocese of Moray, Ross and Caithness.
The Rev John Pelham died on 5 November. Ordained for over 30 years, he latterly ministered at St Mary’s, Dalmahoy, and was previously Associate Priest at Christ Church, Lanark and earlier an honorary Assistant Curate at Penicuik/West Linton and Balerno. May he rest in peace, and rise in glory.
