The Scottish Episcopal Church seeks to appoint an assistant to the Church Relations Officer. The role covers a range of administrative responsibilities and will include a particular emphasis on climate change and environmental matters to support the Church in achieving its target of net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
The post is based at the General Synod Office, Edinburgh, but could include some home working.
Candidates applying for the post will have:
- Good communication, administrative and organisational skills; a logical, systematic and innovative approach to challenges and opportunities.
- Experience in the use of information and communications technology and commonly used IT applications, including Excel, within an office environment.
- An ability to take initiative and work collaboratively, flexibly and independently within agreed parameters.
