We are seeking a Rector for the charge of St. Ninian’s Episcopal Church which is located about 3 kilometres south of Glasgow city centre within a high amenity area of Pollokshields. This is a cosmopolitan urban area having a wide range of leisure and cultural facilities, schools and shops.
St. Ninian’s is a 19th century Grade B listed building, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, and our worship is within the liberal catholic Anglican tradition.
The Rectory is a substantial Victorian semi-detached villa nearby.
We are looking for a priest who:-
- will develop links with the local community and other faith groups
- will continue and develop our commitment to liturgical worship with flexibility
- will support and direct the spiritual growth of the congregation
- will be approachable, friendly, welcoming and with a good sense of humour
The appointment is subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Record Disclosure
