St Saviour’s, Bridge of Allan
We seek a Rector to be our spiritual leader and pilot, someone who is pastoral, creative and one who embraces our Scottish Episcopal, inclusive and liberal catholic tradition. The post carries additional duties of chaplain to the University of Stirling.
St Saviour’s is open every day, we welcome visitors, worship in the liturgy, enjoy church music and creative arts. Our congregation responds to challenges and social need both at home and in the wider world.
We welcome women and men ordained in accordance with the Scottish Episcopal Church and offer the successful applicant a full stipend with financial support for training and retreats. There is a delightful Rectory and garden next to the church.
Bridge of Allan and Stirling University are located in Scotland’s stunning countryside next to the city of Stirling. St Saviour’s, in the centre of Bridge of Allan, is a well- established Scottish Episcopal congregation in good relations with its neighbouring Parish Church of Scotland.
With a lay team in place, we seek a Rector who can, with love and guidance, challenge us and take us onwards. Here at St Saviour’s, Bridge of Allan there is potential to lead and serve.
