Vacancy: Transitional Minister at Stonehaven & Muchalls

April 26, 2021

Do you have a vision for helping local church communities through transition? Could you grow and deepen that vision in this beautiful area of Scotland? Two neighbouring church communities in Aberdeenshire, part of the Diocese of Brechin, are working together to discern their futures and develop and reach out to their local areas.

A full-time transitional priest will lead St James the Great in Stonehaven and St Ternan’s in Muchalls through a three-year project to start this time of transition. The priest will also support their pastoral and sacramental lives in their separate communities. This is an ‘intentional transitional ministry’ with full training and support available for this role. Fully supported by the diocese, this project will support and encourage the church communities.

Modern housing to the Scottish Episcopal Church standard is being purchased in the local area.
