July 8, 2020

On Sunday the Rt Rev Kevin Pearson preached his first sermon as Bishop of Glasgow & Galloway during an online worship service from St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow.

Bishop Kevin, who was translated to Glasgow & Galloway from the Diocese of Argyll & The Isles on July 1 said in his sermon: “As I arrive in the Diocese of Glasgow & Galloway, it seems to me the Holy Spirit is presenting enormous opportunities to our Diocese, to our congregations and to each one of us individually as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. To our diocese, the Holy spirit is erupting, flowing in our desire to meet on the banks of the river to celebrate. God is with us.”
