The Scottish Episcopal Church will once again participate in Thy Kingdom Come, a global prayer initiative which runs from Ascension to Pentecost (13-23 May 2021).
A statement from the Scottish Church Leaders’ Forum, signed by the Primus, the Most Rev Mark Strange and published here in both English and Gaelic, reads:
“Thy Kingdom Come is now in its sixth year and draws thousands of Christians together, from across different denominations and traditions, to pray ‘thy Kingdom come’. Support for Thy Kingdom Come in Scotland has increased markedly in recent years and we look forward to strengthening our fellowship through our shared prayers.”
Bishop Mark has recorded a video message alongside the Most Rev Leo Cushley, Archbishop of St. Andrews and Edinburgh (Roman Catholic Church) and the Rt Rev Dr Martin Fair, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland:

At this time, we commend Thy Kingdom Come and invite you to join the global wave of prayer calling all Christians to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know the love and peace of Jesus Christ.
