BBC Radio 4’s Prayer for the Day will be delivered over the next week by the Rev Philip Blackledge.
The Rector of Holy Trinity in Melrose will lead Radio 4’s “spiritual reflection to start the day” on Saturday 14 August, at 5.43am. For those who might consider this to be a tad early to rise on a Saturday morning, the broadcast will be made available on the BBC website at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000yszg
There is no Prayer for the Day on Sunday, but Mr Blackledge will return on Monday 16 August at 5.43am, and can be heard in the same slot on the following days, up to and including Friday 20 August.
