Following in the footsteps of Saint Moluag

April 17, 2014

The Very Rev Canon Dr Emsley Nimmo, Dean of the Diocese of Aberdeen & Orkney  and Rector of St Margaret’s Church, Aberdeen will take part in a coast to coast walk to raise funds for the St Andrews Cathedral, Aberdeen restoration project. The pilgrimage walk will follow in the footsteps of St Moluag, who it is believed landed on the island of Lismore around the same time as St Columba.  Emsley will walk and sail across Scotland, setting off from Aberdeen harbour on 5th May and arriving in Lismore on 16th  May.

Details of the walk and how to make a donation towards the restoration project are available here.
