Primus offers prayers for the people of Nova Scotia

April 21, 2020

The Most Rev Mark Strange, Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, offers prayers for victims of the attacks in Nova Scotia, and for the people of that Province, and across Canada.

Bishop Mark says: “I know I am joined by members of our Church and our communities across Scotland in sending love and prayers to the people of Nova Scotia, and all of Canada. We are so aware of the pain you will be feeling after the dreadful shock of the shootings in Portapique, in Enfield and across the Province. We pray with you for those who have died, for their families and for those traumatised by what they have witnessed.

“May the God of hill and glen, the God of sea and shore be with you through this dark night until you can once more glimpse the lightening of the sky as the new dawn arrives. Amen.”
