The Rt Rev Dr Nigel Peyton retires as Bishop of Brechin this week, and recently reflected on his time as Bishop in an interview with The Courier newspaper which you can read here

A Parliamentary Motion recognising the retirement of Bishop Nigel was lodged today (27 June) in Scottish Parliament by Liam Kerr MSP stating“That the Parliament recognises the forthcoming retirement of the Bishop of Brechin, the Right Reverend Dr Nigel Peyton, after 41 years of ministry; notes that, although he was consecrated as the bishop at St Paul’s Cathedral in Dundee in 2011, his ministry began in 1976; highlights his pioneering of the Dundee Centre of Mission, which encourages outreach initiatives across the diocese, and wishes him well and a happy retirement.”
