The Most Rev David Chillingworth, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church says “This has been a day of tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been bereaved and injured.
“An attack on Parliament is an audacious assault on democratic values. The bravery and speed of response of police and others prevented worse. We owe much to those who ceaselessly work to protect us and our society in dangerous times.”
