- This year, the Scottish Episcopal Church will join other denominations around the world in keeping Easter 4, ‘Good Shepherd Sunday’, as Vocations Sunday. It offers a time to reflect on the baptismal calling of all Christians, and how this is expressed in many different ways. Vocations Sunday is also a reminder of training for ordained ministry. - The Most Rev David Chillingworth, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church says "Margaret Thatcher will be remembered for her achievement in becoming Britain’s first woman Prime Minister long after debate about the merits and demerits of her time in office have faded. - In yesterday's Sunday Times and on BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme today the Most Rev David Chillingworth, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church spoke of his support for secular society, saying "I believe that secularisation presents a positive challenge for churches.
