Statement of Partnership
A unique partnership between the Scottish Episcopal Church, the Methodist Church in Scotland and the United Reformed Church, National Synod of Scotland was signed at a special service on Saturday 23 January by the Most Rev David Chillingworth, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church; the Rev Lily Twist, Chair of the Methodist Church in Scotland and the Rev John Humphreys, Moderator of the United Reformed Church, National Synod of Scotland.  More →

New Dean named for Diocese of Glasgow & Galloway
At the Glasgow & Galloway Synod on Saturday 27 February, the Bishop-Elect Very Rev Dr Gregor Duncan announced that following his Consecration as Bishop on 23 April it is his intention to appoint the Rev Ian Barcroft as the new Dean of the Diocese. Full entry →

Rural Commission Conference
The third Action of Churches Together in Scotland (ACTS)/Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) Rural Commission Conference will take place on Saturday 13 March in the Acorn Centre, Inverurie from 10.30am to 4pm. Being Rural Church in 2025 Conference
The second Scottish Episcopal Church Rural Commission Conference will take place on Saturday 20th February at St Johns, Inverness (10am-4pm). The programme for the event has been driven by the key issues which emerged from the Action of Churches Together in Scotland/Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) Rural Futures Conference held in December 2009. Thought for the Day from Rob Warren
The Rev Rob Warren, the Scottish Episcopal priest who works in Penicuik and West Linton was the presenter of Radio Scotland's Thought for the Day on 2 February 2010. The theme of the Thought was compassion: "We don’t always manage to do the good we intend, but unless we take the best stab at it we can, the feelings we have inside of us may remain merely feelings." Inspires Online Launched
The new newsletter for the Scottish Episcopal Church, Inspires Online, has been launched. This e-mail based news source is for everyone interested in the Scottish Episcopal Church and is available by signing up at the subscribe page. Commenting on the launch, the Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth, the Convener of the Information and Communication Board said, "I hope that this new communication tool will be useful and would like to thank those who have been working on it.
